VZLR kick started the Spring of 2022 with their annual spring day soccer match. A day where the employees at the firm show off their soccer skills and abilities on the field.

There is no better way to describe a soccer match amongst employees at a law firm other than describing it as the monumental EL CLASSICO.

On 1 September, there were whispers of anticipation and excitement looming down the corridors. After work, everyone made their way to the field of Hatfield Urban Soccer where the game would take place. The employees were divided into two teams, none other than Real Madrid and Barcelona. They were further divided into the men’s team and the women’s team. Kick off started at 17:15. Both the men and the women had a very strong start to their match. During the course of the match, injuries were sustained, knees were scraped and people were falling on the field – all of which is expected from VZLR’s annual soccer match.

At the end of the day Real Madrid took the trophy home on both the men’s team and the women’s team.

Man of the match was none other than Londo Nemudzivhadi and lady of the match was none other than Marietjie Dixon.

At the end of the day, despite all the trials and tribulations, the results are what matters most, well at least to us.

The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team – Phil Jackson.
